CORNERSTONE FRIENDS (2-year commitment of $75,000/year; limit of 20 investors): | |
Created in 2004, the “Cornerstone Program” was designed to be the Foundation’s highest echelon giving program for those wishing to support with extraordinary generosity and receive recognition and benefits for all components of the VVF’s mission. To that end, Cornerstone Friends provide support across all aspects of the Vail Valley Foundation and are recognized and benefited as Grand Patron’s of the Vilar Performing Arts Center, Diamond Dress Circle Members of the Vail International Dance Festival, and Champion’s Circle Donors of VVF Education; in addition to receiving Leadership Giving Circle recognition and benefits. The program became an immediate hit and has existed at a full capacity of 15 investors until 2007, when the Board of Directors voted to increase the philanthropic investment opportunities to 20.
