LEADERSHIP GIVING CIRCLES
- Eagle Program
(One to five-year commitment of $30,000/year; limit of 30 members)
This “entry level” of the Foundation’s leadership gift societies was originally created as a “waiting list” for Friends of Vail. It has emerged as a group of donors who, without being obligated to a multi-year commitment unless they so choose, collectively make a tremendous difference in the Foundation’s overarching mission. Benefits include:
- Two Eagle Medallions, fully transferable for year round recreation, including skiing at 5 resorts, complimentary greens fees at Vail Golf Club, as well as play, with restrictions, at Beaver Creek Golf Club, Sonnenalp Golf Club, Cordillera, Eagle Ranch and Cotton Ranch. Other summer benefits include tennis at courts throughout the area.
- Eight “First Light, First Tracks” ski event slots allowing attendees access to either Vail or Beaver Creek before the lifts “officially” run
- VIP Packages to the World Cup Downhill Races and American Ski Classic Celebrity Ski Event
- Gerald R. Ford Amphitheatre Ticket Package, including two tickets to certain Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival performances with the opportunity for priority purchasing, your choice of three Vail International Dance Festival performances, as well as tickets to most other independently promoted concerts and performances.
- Invitation to the Vail International Dance Festival Gala and other Foundation sponsored social events.
Spectator Access to the AEI World Forum – a private conference where global issues are discussed by political, corporate and scholarly dignitaries.
- Friends of Vail
(5-year commitment of $35,000/year; limit of 50 members)
This exclusive opportunity to support the Foundation requires a five-year commitment and is open to only 50 donors per year. Members receive all the benefits of the Eagle Program as well as additional benefits, including ski instructor days, ski clothing and additional tickets at the Ford Amphitheatre. Since there is currently a waiting list for Friends of Vail, the program is closed to new members until the waiting list is recognized.
- Cornerstone Friends
(2-year commitment of $75,000/year; limit of 20 members)
Created in 2004, the “Cornerstone Program” was designed to be the Foundation’s highest echelon giving program for those wishing to support with extraordinary generosity and receive recognition and benefits for all components of the VVF’s mission. To that end, Cornerstone Friends are recognized and benefited as Grand Patron’s of the Vilar Performing Arts Center, Diamond Dress Circle Members of the Vail International Dance Festival, and Champion’s Circle Donors of VVF Education; in addition to receiving Leadership Giving Circle recognition and benefits. The program became an immediate hit and has existed at a full capacity of 15 members until 2007, when the Board of Directors voted to increase membership opportunities to 20. The Cornerstone Program incorporates all the benefits of Friends of Vail, as well as additional benefits including VIP parking at the Ford Ampitheater.
