Success at Six | This program ensures the future success of a young child’s educational experience by helping to “prime the pump.” Through qualified preschool and after-school programs, kindergarten and pre-kindergarten young students are given additional tools to prepare them for their school years. The two primary sub-programs of Success at Six are: Kindergarten Scholarships - Provide full-time kindergarten to every such aged child of the Vail Valley. A $2,200 contribution is required to sponsor a child. Magic Bus Program - Delivers pre-kindergarten education to various underprivileged areas of the Vail Valley. | Vilar STARS Supporting The Arts Reaching Students Program | Each year the Vilar Performing Arts Center (VPAC) offered numerous educational opportunities at the theatre for local children through the STARS Program. | Donor Advised Funds for Education | With a minimum $25,000, donors may establish a named Donor Advised Fund (DAF) to function similarly to the Foundation’s Gold Star Giving Program. In the case of a DAF, however, it is the donor who makes recommendations for distributions to assist various educational charities of the Vail Valley (not the VVF education grant committee). For more information on establishing a DAF with the Vail Valley Foundation, Please contact the VVF Development Department at (970) 949-1999. |
