

Skiing legends, sports and entertainment celebrities and corporate America join together on the slopes of Vail Mountain during the 2008 celebration of the American Ski Classic presented by Korbel California Champagne, March 26-30. This event combines the thrill of both professional and amateur ski racing with an array of entertainment options for fans of all ages. In its 26th year, the American Ski Classic is the oldest and largest skiing competition and festival of its kind in North America. In addition to the racing action, the American Ski Classic also features a festive social schedule, including the Mountains of Hope benefit dinner and auction to benefit the Vail Valley Foundation's educational initiatives and the Legends of Skiing Banquet.
With exciting racing action on the slopes, and live entertainment and sumptuous dinner events off the slopes, there is always something to do at the Ski Classic. All the races are held at Golden Peak in Vail and are free for spectators, family-friendly and rich with autograph opportunities.
