In an effort to reduce our impact on the environment, the Vail Valley Foundation has initiated several "green" programs for 2008:
1.) Our brochures are printed on recycled paper.
2.) Our Vilar Performing Arts Center, Vail Valley Summer Festivals and Vail International Dance Festival program books are delivered from the printer without cardboard boxes, but are bundled in small plastic straps.
3.) We have reduced our print quantities, and encourage our audience to view our "TreeFree" brochure's and publications electronically. Soon, all of the VVF's printed pieces will be available in electronic format.
4.) New towel dispensers have been installed at the Ford Amphitheater that substantially reduce the quantity of waste.
5.) A recycling program has been established at the Ford Amphitheater for summer programs including Bud Light Hot Summer Nights, the Vail International Dance Festival and Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival.
6.) We encourage you to subscribe to our email list (click here), which will help us further reduce our print quantities in the future.
