Vail Global Energy Forum at Beaver Creek
The Future of Energy in A Global Economy
The energy industry's leading experts.
The premier networking event.
Following the successful inaugural Forum in March, 2012, and highly praised follow-up Forums in March 2013 & 2014, Stanford University, Precourt Institute for Energy, and the Vail Valley Foundation will partner again to host a fourth public Forum March 14 and 15, 2015. The Vail Global Energy Forum will bring together government leaders, such as U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz and his official counterparts from Canada and Mexico, as well as thought leaders from business and academia to discuss the rise of North America as a global energy powerhouse and the future of clean power and transportation.
The event takes place at the base of Beaver Creek Resort, providing an intimate setting for networking and conversation that's just steps away from breathtaking views and one of the country's best winter outdoor sport destinations.

2014 Vail Global Energy Forum in Review:
VGEF 2014 more than lived up to its aim to be a Mini-Davos on Energy, and the feeling was sheer optimism for our theme, "The Future of Energy in a Global Economy."
Some highlights from the Forum include: A historic agreement on methane emission air rules negotiated by Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, Fred Krupp of EDF, Chuck Davidson of Noble Energy, Doug Suttles of Encana and Brad Holly of Anadarko; The radical shift of the U.S. transportation sector toward using renewable energy and natural gas as a future fuel strategy by Dennis Beal of FedEx and Dennis Slagle of Volvo Trucks; and ground-breaking advances in new renewable technologies described by David Danielson, Assistant Secretary of Energy.
Legendary Secretary of State and Secretary of the Treasury, George P. Shultz capped off 2014 by predicting complete energy independence and security for America within this decade.
Mark your calendars for March 14 - 15, 2015, when we continue to bring you the most independent-minded and completely non-partisan energy conference in America.
VGEF 2015 is presented by the Vail Valley Foundation in association with Stanford University, one of the most respected and influential institutions in the world.
