VPAC Community Programs

The Vilar Performing Arts Center prides itself on being a community resource. As such, the theatre is committed to nurturing the cultural passions of our youth and all members of our community.

Nurturing Future Artists

The Vilar Performing Arts Center provides local music, dance and drama students opportunities when possible to attend performances, meet artists, watch rehearsals, ask questions, and participate in master classes. These experiences give students the rare opportunity to experience renowned artists and fuel their dreams of performing on stage.

Community Performance Fund

Each year, this Fund underwrites the technical, production, labor and theatre-usage costs for approximately ten local dance, music and theatrical performances. This gives artists the opportunity to experience the excitement of performing on an incredible stage with professional production qualities and support.

Community Use Fund

The Vilar Performing Arts Center opens its doors to other Eagle County non-profits by hosting fundraisers, lectures and performances at a reduced cost to the organizations. Approximately 25 local groups take advantage of this annually.
